You will surround yourself with other creative souls in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. \nDr. Eric Miller\, Lynn Miller\, MA of SpiritArts and Janey Butterworth MSW\, invite you to a three day musical intensive in San Miguel de Allende\, Mexico\, -Jam Haven! \nCOME JAM WITH US! There is magic in the air in San Miguel\, built on a crystal bed in the mountains. This town is known for its synchronicity\, magic and creativity! \nMusic therapists Eric and Lynn Miller have over 20 years experience in facilitating musicianship skills no matter what instrument or level of experience you are. Janey is a master in Sound Healing and soul singing. They will take you on a musical journey discovering your own inner music and skills in playing with others. \nThis will be the first ever Jam Haven\, with activities and instruction geared  to help improve your jamming\, musicianship and improvisational skills. Musicians will be invited to go out into the community of the artistic haven of San Miguel de Allende\, MX to play in restaurants and on the streets. San Miguel attracts musicians from around the world who might want to join us! You can also support others by being a witness. \nThis vibrant community is in Colonial Mexico\, north of Mexico City. It was discovered in the 1960’s by American and Canadian artists who have continued to flock to the area to express their creativity through painting\, drawing\, writing\, dancing and music. The city of San Miguel has preserved its architectural beauty with buildings dating back to the 1500’s. It was chosen as a Unesco World Heritage site and was named the most beautiful city in the world in 2016. It is considered a very safe place to travel. \nJam Haven will be held at Casa Carly\, a lovely hotel comprised of seven separate casitas surrounding a courtyard and community activities room. Events will be held in the activities room with 2 pianos. In the mornings\, there will be opportunities to play together impromptu in the casita or courtyard or visit local sites. Casa Carly is in walking distance of Fabrica Aurora\, the Art Center comprised of many thriving art galleries. It is also an easy walk to the Guadalupe neighborhood known for its organic grocery store\, restaurants and many vibrant murals. \nThis event will be held March 9 and 10\, 2019 with a welcoming event the evening of March 8. San Miguel is a very busy tourist area\, especially during the first three months of the year. \nThree day workshop fee is $150. Full time students $99. Rooms at Casa Carly range approx from $85 to $100 per night plus tax. Several rooms are large enough to share. All rooms have a kitchenette and couches.
